The series includes correspondence; bonds; county records, particularly for Jones County (Ga.); court records; indentures; inventories; land grants; newspaper clippings; and official Georgia government records for the office of the Adjutant General, Comptroller General, Governor, and Treasurer from 1754-1905 (with gaps).
